Privacy & ad choices
Updated 4 November 2026. The operator and data controller is Melker Bergqvist. Contact: game@dailythrow.com.
What the game stores
We store your randomly assigned player identifier, chosen dart name, daily and replay aiming timings and scores, replay unlock records, credits, cosmetic inventory, loadout, missions and progress. If you create a recovery code, we store a one-way hash of it. The code itself is shown once and must be kept private.
The player session cookie keeps your profile connected for up to one year. Browser storage also remembers preferences, warm-up completion and compatibility data for older rounds. These functions let the game save your progress and work across visits.
What other people can see
Your dart name and completed daily score can appear on public daily and weekly leaderboards. Friends league scores are visible to league members. A practice score appears in the public forum only when you choose to post it. Forum reactions are attached to player profiles. You can delete your own posts and report other posts.
Usage counts
The site records page loads, a screen-size category and a hashed random browser identifier for visitor estimates. The browser identifier is stored locally for up to 30 days and visit records are kept for up to 90 days. We do not store raw IP addresses in the visitor statistics. Security and rate limits use hashed identifiers. Counts represent browsers, not necessarily different people.
Google advertising
Advertising is currently disabled.
When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses and other identifiers to serve, measure and personalize ads, depending on your choices and available ad types. Google and its partners may use information from visits to this and other sites. See how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s ad personalization settings.
A certified consent management platform must be connected before ads can be enabled. Its message explains available choices and vendors, and lets you change or withdraw consent. Consent choices are separate from choosing to watch a rewarded ad.
Google’s consent message is connected through its official asynchronous tag, including while advertising is disabled. Ad requests stay paused until the site’s advertising requirements and your applicable consent are satisfied. Loading this tag can read existing cookies on Google’s domains; while ad requests are paused, data associated with those cookies is not used for ad serving or measurement. Google manages the storage needed to remember your privacy choices. Use Privacy & cookie settings below to reopen the message when it is available.
Why we use this information
Game and profile data are used to provide the service you request. Security records help prevent misuse and keep rankings fair. Optional advertising processing is subject to the applicable consent choice. Browser usage counts help us understand and improve the service.
Hosting, retention and your choices
The service is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Service providers process data to host and operate the game. Where data is processed and the applicable transfer arrangements depend on the hosting providers. Contact us for information about the providers used for your data. Game profiles and results are kept while the service operates or until an applicable deletion request is completed. Security limits are retained for their relevant protection periods.
You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your data, and ask about other applicable data protection rights. We may need to verify that you control the profile. Do not send your private recovery code by email. You can also complain to Sweden’s privacy authority, IMY.
